Tino Diaz has been serving the homeownership industry since 1975.
Tino Diaz specializes in improving the performance and competitiveness of financial services companies.
Mr. Diaz’s experience in the financial services industry is wide-ranging. He has worked with the community and multinational banks, thrifts, insurance companies, and mortgage banks. He has hands-on operating and leadership experience from entry-level to Chief Executive Officer. He has led corporate turnarounds and founded various financial services businesses and institutions.
As a tirelessly advocate for sustainable homeownership his mortgage banking teams have systematically improved culturally sensitive loan structures, underwriting, servicing, and business process technologies. His teams have excelled at structuring mortgages that advanced homeownership, minimized overall costs to the end consumer, and achieved a reputation for impeccable quality, loan performance and speed throughout the secondary market. He also serves as Managing Director of America’s Homeowner Alliance, advocating for the protection and promotion of sustainable homeownership for all segments of America.
In 2007, he led the development of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals’ (NAHREP) Code of Trust, “En Confianza” and works to proliferate the Code of Trust He served as National Chairman and President of NAHREP from March 2009 to 2010.
He served on the Consumer Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors from 2010 through 2011, advising the Board of Governors and Chairman Bernanke on matters that affect the delivery and regulation of consumer financial services.
Mr. Diaz has provided management leadership and advice to organizations that are committed to corporate social responsibility and desire to improve their performance. He has served as an advisor and coach to chief executive officers, executive management and boards of directors in the areas of strategy, innovation, managing change, and business process management in organizations such as:
