As a 20 year veteran of the Mortgage and Real Estate industry, Scott Schang is passionate about educating and empowering consumers. Scott created the homeownership education website, findmywayhome.com in the fall of 2007.  Scott and his partner Josh Lewis have helped over 10,000 unique visitors a month, for the past 10 years, totaling well over 1,ooo,ooo consumers helped.

As a result, Scott has answered thousands of questions, answered hundreds of emails, and helped thousands find their way home after being turned down by other (inexperienced) loan officers.  Protecting consumers from the lack of training and experience that staff the call centers of big box lenders, Scott finds comfort in knowing that so many consumers have been able to find answers, and become homeowners again.

Scott is passionate about thinking and writing about consumer protection issues.  Scott’s superpower is the ability to make complicated mortgage topics easy to understand.
