Schwab Bank COVID-19 Mortgage Payment Relief
Charles Schwab Bank is offering affected mortgage clients the ability to defer mortgage payments for up to 90 days through Charles Schwab
Am I eligible for mortgage payment relief related to COVID-19?
If you are a Schwab client who currently has a mortgage or home equity line of credit (HELOC) through Charles Schwab Bank, SSB, and Quicken Loans, you may be eligible for mortgage payment relief.
How does mortgage payment relief work if I’m impacted by COVID-19?
You can request payment relief in order to suspend your monthly mortgage payments for a period of time, up to 90 days. During this time, interest will continue to accrue on your loan.
The past due amount must be paid at the end of the 90 day period, or you can contact Quicken Loans to discuss a non-credit impacting loan modification.
There is no fee to make this request and this will not impact your credit rating.
