For residential mortgage customers who are financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, Bayview Loan Servicing offers a Forbearance Plan that temporarily pauses mortgage payments for an initial period of up to 180 days, in 90-day increments.
For over 98% of our residential mortgage customers, an extension of up to 180 additional days is available, for a maximum forbearance period of 360 days. The remaining small number of customers are eligible for the initial 180-day period with decisions about the availability of additional forbearance periods thereafter subject to evaluation during the initial forbearance period.
For all customers on a Forbearance Plan, at the end of the forbearance period, there will be repayment options available to you. No one will be required to immediately “make-up” the paused payments, all at once or in a “lump sum.” Please log in for more information and to view our Emergency Assistance FAQs.
For those impacted customers eligible to complete a forbearance request online, we also have a questionnaire that can be completed for automatic, immediate assistance without having to speak with an agent.
